Allow me to slip into self-promotional mode and tell you that if you liked the story, you might like the novel I just wrote. It's available in a typo-ridden blog version for a limited time, though I'm working on posting a copyedited PDF and a print version is available for sale. I'm actually hoping to get a site for the book up in the next day or three that will give a little more info about how to get a copy.
